HELLO!
My name is Miller Scanlan. I am the manager of the Texas Spikes baseball team. The Spikes are a team made up of 18-year-old and under young men from Granbury, Cleburne, Weatherford, Burleson and Argyle, Texas. We formed this team in the Fall of 2010 for players who were looking to play at the Select level and most of us have been together since.
We play several tournaments throughout the season, including three to four College showcase events each year. We emphasize fundamentals, versatility, leadership and sportsmanship.
Our goal is to develop players who are not only excellent players, but who are blessings to their communities. These players have the potential and desire to move on to play in College and beyond. We are helping them to be prepared, not only for baseball, but as responsible young adults. We look for opportunities to be involved in our communities through church and youth groups.
